What to do in and around Gennes ?
Gennes is the main village of the community Gennes-Val de Loire, 15 km alongside both sides of the Loire river ouest of Saumur. We have plenty of troglodytes, beautyful limestone castels and manors, and a lot of remarkable historical remains (dolmen, stone formations, roman amphitheater ...). More than 20 main attractions (castels, bioparc, museums, ...) are in less than 40 km around Gennes. You shouldn't miss the hot air ballon flight and a Loire river tour on one of the traditional boats.
